Babylonstoren - Malmesbury day outing - 23 August 2009.  Grade 3-4

The day was attended by 7 Jeep Owners. We all met at Engen Garage on the N7 just passed Melkbos on a sunny Sunday morning.

We departed in convoy to the farm and as we reached the dirt roads stopped to adjust tire pressure for the sandy road conditions.

The farmer met us at the entrance to the farm where indeminties were signed and the route explained to the drivers.

The group consisted of newbies as well as old hats at 4x4. We positioned all the drivers accordingly and Neil kindly lent out hand held radios for those without. It was not long and we were all focused on the track ahead of us.

The water crossing arrived and all went accross without incident. The newbies nerves were now being tested as they entered the water and followed the previous drivers line.
