Recovery Kit

Yes you have purchased you Jeep and are ready for the outdoors and 4x4 tracks around you.

Stop for a moment and check you have also acquired the appropriate recovery equipment.

Whats that?

Yes the vehicle is very capable off road, but if you do get into trouble you must have certain basic equipment to assist you in getting yourself out of the sticky situation.

Standard Recovery Kit should include:

Recovery Bag with the following contents:

  • 9ton Kinetic Rope
  • 9ton Tow rope
  • 2 Schackles - bow shaped 3/4
  • Gloves
  • Tyre Guage
  • Fold up Spade
  • Puncture Repair Kit

Air Jack - Your standard jack will not work when off road. Air Jack is the next best thing. Folds up compact and fits into the boot. Remeber to put a foot mat on the top and bottom of the bag to prevent damage to it.

If you have metal bumpers installed a Hi-Lift Jack will be suitable.

Fire Extinguisher - Always keep one handy within the vehicle.

Firts Aid Kit - This is a must have as you never know when someone will get hurt out on the trail.

Compressor - Yesafter deflating your tyres and having fun you must inflate them before hitting the tarred roads. Remeber when using the compressor your car must be running, you dont want to run your battery flat.

Rubber Boots - for when you get stuck in the mud and yes it will happen so leave the boots in the back of the Jeep.
